Mary A. "Annie" Tobey is Editor and Co-Publisher of V Magazine for Women. Mary A. "Annie" Tobey is Editor and Co-Publisher of V Magazine for Women. Annie’s writing path began as a freelance writer, for the Richmond Times-Dispatch special supplements and for various other local and national periodicals. She published her first book in 1990, For Any Young Mother Who Lives in a Shoe, and later worked as staff writer for International Training Consultants, Inc. and Life Logic, L.L.C. She still does limited freelance work, but V has become the voice for her passion to help women find success and joy. In her free time, she enjoys being active and outdoors, especially hiking, running, kayaking, and trying to keep up with her two active Australian shepherds. Aynsley Miller Fisher, V Sporting Women Editor, combines her talent for writing with her love of sports. Besides being a long-time equestrian, Aynsley is a soccer coach at The Steward School. She enjoys skiing, swimming, boating, and a multitude of outdoor sports. She has participated in Outward Bound type programs in outdoor experiences the rest of us never even begin to imagine. She knows firsthand the sports opportunities for women in Richmond, including RISE, SCOR, Sports Backers, and Richmond Road Runners. Christopher W. Wilmer, Fashion Editor, has the experience and talents to present stylish fashions to V readers in ways that educate and enrich while providing a feast for the eyes. Chris has been in the entertainment and fashion industry for over 20 years, working and residing in over 26 cities around the world. He has appeared in movies, television, magazines, catalogs, billboards, store fronts, commercials, music videos, and runways worldwide. He is also Executive Director of the Miss Virginia US Pageants. Alexa Case, Account Executive, is a business owner with experience in graphic design, publications, marketing, public relations, and print media. She graduated with a B.A. in Communication Arts and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. Visual arts education and program design from early childhood to college levels continue to engage her interest. She also contributes visual works to local exhibitions and supports the local arts community. On other occasions she enjoys sharing her garden in the city with family and friends. Christine Eads, Account Executive, has extensive experience in retail sales and in product marketing and merchandising. Her emphasis on customer service makes her a perfect match for V, as does her experience as a volunteer in local fundraiser, demonstrating her passion for being a part of her community. Christine's educational background at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she earned her A.A.S. in Fashion Buying and Merchandising, and her background in retail give her insight into understanding the needs of V clients. Tom Trenz, Co-Publisher and Creative Director, is also designer for Pleasant Living magazine and Brandylane Publishers, Inc. and a freelance designer. Tom is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He has experience in print and broadcast media where he has worked for regional and national clients and created several award-winning campaigns. Robert Pruett, Associate Editor and Co-Publisher, is president of Brandylane Publishers, Inc., and founder, editor and publisher of Pleasant Living, a magazine for the Bay and River Country. Robert is a poet and essayist who has taught English literature, composition, creative writing, cultural mythology, speech and journalism for the city schools, VCU, and the community college system.
